Corporate acting is the best way to survive as a jobbing actor but acquiring the relevant training and attention of industry Role Play agencies and employers can be almost impossible.
Role Play companies have the majority of the corporate work available but their books are only open every 12 – 18 months, sometimes less frequently. The hard facts are that the number of actors applying to Role Play companies is increasing. Unless you stand out in some way, or have a direct link to the inner circle of these companies, it can be extremely difficult to get their attention.
