The Tutors & ‘What you’ll work on’

Daniel Dresner

Daniel Dresner

Actor, Tutor

Daniel Dresner Daniel has a strong, no-nonsense approach to acting on screen and as well as being an accomplished actor/tutor/director is also now a ‘life coach’ helping actors develop within our overcrowded industry. We’ll work on pre-learnt scripts and really get behind the actors’ and the characters’ thought process. Detailed work so please learn the scripts! You'll be cast in advance with a scene partner and script - please be off book.

Ariella Eshed

Ariella Eshed

Director, Tutor

Ariella has extensive experience as director and has worked at Lyric Hammersmith, Soho Theatre, Hampstead Theatre, King’s Head, and the Union Theatre, to name but a few. In 2005 she set up her own theatre company ‘Tik-sho-ret’, Hebrew for ‘Communication’. In this class we’ll work on ‘Michael Chekhov techniques’ and focus on Archetypes, Tensions and, if time, Elements. Excellent for ‘building a character’. You'll work on a monologue of your choosing - options sent out in advance.

Judith Quin

Judith Quin

Vocal Confidence Specialist, Actor, Tutor

Renowned Vocal and Confidence Coach and professional actor/tutor Judith will take you through a series of exercises designed to get the most from your vocal instrument, helping you gain the ‘presence’ essential for confident acting. You’ll also work on film scenes chosen by you in new pairs before a final session building your own action plan to go forward in the business - what do you need to do to take the next steps on your acting journey?

Peter Salter

Peter Salter

Actor, Tutor

Peter Salter, familiar to those of you from the 12 Week Acting for Film & TV course and members of The Actors Centre, Covent Garden, will pay particular attention to close ups and 'relaxing on camera', said by many big name actors to be a key ingredient to great screen acting. You'll be cast in advance with a scene partner and script - please be off book.
